Dr. Emily VanDoren, PT, DPT, CAPP-Pelvic
Dr. VanDoren received her undergraduate B.S. in Human Biology at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA in 2010, later received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA in 2013. She has continued her postgraduate training of completing post-doctorate courses in Pelvic Health offered through the Section on Women’s Health of the APTA.
She has a passion for helping the Women’s Health population, seeing the dire need and few PT practitioners available for this highly needed population. She initially worked with the geriatric population with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, and then decided to pursue her initial interest in Women’s Health. “I am glad I’m equipped to help women and men with such intimate physical issues and teach them how to reduce/eliminate symptoms they’ve had for months, sometimes years.”
During her off time, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her husband Tim and son, Asher.
