  • Ankle Sprains: Ankle sprains occur when the ligaments that support the ankle stretch or tear due to sudden twisting or rolling of the foot. This leads to pain, swelling, and instability.
  • Plantar Fasciitis: Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition characterized by degenerative breakdown, and in some cases inflammation of the thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot. It causes heel pain, especially in the morning or after prolonged standing.
  • Achilles Tendinitis: Achilles tendinitis involves inflammation of the Achilles tendon, which connects the calf muscles to the heel bone. It can result from overuse, trauma, or improper footwear.

Tee Up for a Healthy Golf Season

  • Dynamic Warm-Up: Replace traditional static stretching with dynamic warm-ups like leg swings, arm circles, and torso rotations to prepare your muscles and joints for the various movements in golf.
  • Balance and Coordination: Golf requires a high level of balance and coordination. Our therapists can give you drills to enhance your stability, which in turn will improve your swing.
  • Soft Tissue Work: Use foam rollers or a massage stick to work on your soft tissue. This helps muscle recovery and keeps you loose and limber, reducing the risk of strains or sprains.

Patient Testimonial

“This place is great, and I’d recommend anyone seeking physical therapy to come here. I haven’t worked with any of the other physical therapists yet, but I’ve been working with Colleen Elliot, and she’s great. I’ve seen the other physical therapists in passing, and everyone seems friendly and attentive. Most importantly, I’m actually seeing improvement in my body, and I’ve been given ways to continue my progress at home and beyond physical therapy.”
