Gina Ross, PTA, CLT

Gina received her Liberal Arts AA and Physical Therapist Assistant AA degrees from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Lymphedema Certification in 1999 learning the Vodder technique from Guenter Klose and Steve Norton. She has also taken various breast cancer rehabilitation courses where she has learned various manual techniques to reduce Axillary Web Syndrome/Cording including myofascial release techniques, use of kinesiotaping and therapeutic exercises specifically addressing breast cancer rehabilitation.

She has an extensive background working with various diagnoses including treating inpatients and outpatients in a large hospital setting including wound care and aquatic therapy. She has educated nurses regarding the treatment of lymphedema and run lymphedema support groups in hospital setting. Gina enjoys helping patients return to their previous active lifestyles before their diagnosis. Being a recent breast cancer survivor herself, Gina has a special insight into treating the whole patient and provides of level of empathy like no other.

A recent transplant from Southern California, she enjoys her new lifestyle spending time with her husband, 3 kids and a zoo. This zoo is complete with dogs, birds, a tortoise, turtles, fish and ducks. She enjoys gardening, swimming, yoga, decorating her home and watching her kids play sports.
